MASSAGE THERAPY
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft tissues, muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin, to enhance function, aid in recovery, and promote relaxation and well-being.
I use a variety of techniques and pressure levels to address specific conditions. The offerings at BodyKinesis massage therapy & bodywork are:
Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Connective Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage, Stretching, Hydrotherapy, and Pre-natal.
Session lengths range from 30 to 120 minutes. The common length is 60 minutes. The number of visits depends on a client’s goals: single sessions for relaxation; weekly or biweekly for chronic issues; or intensive plans for rehabilitation, as advised by a therapist or clinician.
Massage therapy can be a valuable tool for pain management, recovery, and relaxation.
